To the guy who is having trouble forwarding ports:

The most prominent guide is on portforward.com, which guides you through the entire process router-specific and operatingsystem-specific. Ubuntuforums has instructions for linux. As I stated in the instructable: Most applications, including Ultr@vnc do it automatically. The reason you have to jazz around with any of your port forwarding stuff to use VNC is because of your modem.
