Sorry that I haven’t been writing. I have been on vacation and the internet connection there was so slow that it wasn’t worth using. And then the Ubuntu partition got disabled on the dual-boot laptop while trying to figure out how to free up disk space. Disabling the partition caused the linux grub in the boot sector to foul up so we can’t even run an operating system anymore.
All of my data is still there, I just can’t access it as I normally could. If my idea for fixing it works it should be trivial. Maybe another instructable.
Meanwhile I’ll try and post up another brainteaser.
